Google Shopping Ads – Campaign Brief
The client is an online retailer, who wanted to increase traffic to their website and generate a high volume of orders. They wanted to achieve consistent results and steady revenue.
They required a Google Shopping Ads campaign, which would feature thousands of products from their website. Detailed conversion tracking was needed, to track the exact amount of revenue generated from shopping ads.
Our Solution
Firstly, their existing WooCommerce store was linked with Google Merchant Centre. All of their products were added to Merchant Centre, and we ensured they were indexed correctly. There were thousands of products, and some products had to be edited to ensure they were compliant with Google’s standards.
A Google Shopping Ads campaign was setup, we carefully optimised it to maximise their budget. High-ticket items were prioritised in the campaign settings, to ensure maximum return on ad spend.
Conversion tracking was setup on their WooCommerce website, to ensure every single purchase from Google Ads was tracked. Also, the exact value of each order was passed to Google Ads with each conversion, to ensure the revenue generated was tracked. This was vital for measuring their return on ad spend.
Their campaign was closely monitored, and further adjustments were made over time to maximise ROA.
The Results
Their Google Shopping Ads generated fantastic results. The campaign ran from September 2024 till May 2025, here are the results it generated:
