Based in Honley, the Modern Language School provides affordable language learning to all adults in a relaxed and stress-free environment. Founded in 2011, the school now offers six different languages, and has a total of seven language teachers.
The client had an existing WordPress site, which had become outdated and needed modernising.

Our Solution
To begin, we looked at the existing site and identified which aspects could be improved in the rebuild. We looked at the design, functionality and ease of navigation. The old site had some issues on mobile devices, and had a navigation structure which was overly complex.
We decided upon a bright and vibrant design. This reflects the friendly atmosphere of the school, and the fun experience which comes with learning a new language. We sourced high quality stock photography, which shows off the personality of the various countries and cultures.
The site map was overhauled. We decided to have 1 page for each language, which simplifies navigation and makes information easier to find. The class timetables were re-designed, into a cleaner format with enhanced readability.
In addition, the Course Enrolment process was refined. The site now makes it abundantly clear how people can enrol on a course, and what steps they need to take. The Enrolment system uses WooCommerce. We set up QuickBooks integration on the website, so WooCommerce orders automatically sync with QuickBooks. This saves a lot of time for the client.
