What can be built with PHP?

PHP is open-source and widely adopted, resulting in a vast community of developers who continuously contribute to its growth and improvement. This means that developers have access to a wealth of resources, tutorials, and libraries, making it easier and more cost-effective to build web applications.

Furthermore, PHP is exceptionally versatile and compatible with various operating systems, web servers, and databases, offering flexibility in development. Its ability to seamlessly integrate with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB enables the creation of dynamic and data-driven websites and applications.

The benefits of PHP encompass its open-source nature, versatility, compatibility, efficiency, security, and scalability, making it a preferred choice for developing a wide range of web applications, from simple websites to complex, data-driven platforms.

Facebook was initially built using PHP. Mark Zuckerberg, along with his co-founders, developed the early version of Facebook using PHP as the server-side scripting language. The platform’s original name was “The Facebook,” and it was launched in February 2004 from Zuckerberg’s dorm room at Harvard University. PHP allowed them to create a dynamic and interactive social networking website that could handle user registrations, profiles, and interactions with other users.

Our Web Design Process

1.

The Brief

We meet to discuss your requirements, and put together a quote. We research your business and your specific goals, and create a tailor-made plan for the website. Every successful project starts with a good brief, and we collaborate with you to ensure the brief covers all bases. You are provided with timelines, costs and payment terms, along with a list of project deliverables.

2.

Design & Development

Firstly, our designers get to work to bring your idea to life. We build a unique hand-crafted design for your website. You have the opportunity to provide feedback, before we decide upon a finalized design. Next, we develop the website and code in all of the functionality. Our robust process ensures a high-quality end product.

3.

Testing & Launch

Your website is thoroughly tested across different devices, and we ensure the site runs smoothly for mobile visitors. We then launch your website to the public, and you can show it off to the world! After launch, training is available if you want to maintain the website yourself. Or you can subscribe to one of our Website Maintenance packages, to ensure your website keeps up with the latest trends.
